Vecchietta (1410-1480 ) , also known as Lorenzo di Pietro, was an Italian Sienese School painter, sculptor, goldsmith and architect of the Renaissance. He is among the artists profiled in Vasari's 'Lives of the Artists'. Vecchietta was born in Castiglione d'Orcia, and lived in Siena.
